Jessica Kylie, so very American.

Gray first name (so she wouldn’t face discrimination because of her brownness) Kylie (Aboriginal Australian but used by grays more than non grays, though I did date a Kylie in high school) and Zepeda (The name of Spanish murderers). She grew up in the mulitcultural south, I’m unsure if she speaks spanish, but she should, that we be sexy, and she’s so very beautiful and light enough to pass. She doesn’t use her last name when modeling and her early career was strictly urban, which she didn’t quite have the body for, but no one could deny her beauty.

Today, she’s switched it up, realized she has the face to do the kind of modeling that most Black and Brown chicks can’t even get a sniff of… yet her body continues to thicken and her ass continues to expand. It’s the exact opposite of what most Browns have to do. Normally they start thick and get smaller to get “better” jobs (see Sophia Vergara and the stereotype she plays).

What I hypothesize is that because she’s so beautiful she’s moved into that anomaly role. She the one non gray at the Gentlemen’s Club. The one Latina that’s acceptable so long as she doesn’t mention or act all… “Mexican”. And that attitude is very American.

I do not fault her at all for knowing her situation and making the most of it. She’s adapted to it and has had a stellar career with staying power and continues to work regularly. Something which is hard to do especially knowing where she started out from. She stays away from the bullshit and does high quality work, and even though that ain’t very American, she certainly is.
